The Fifth-Third Burger

Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you…

The Fifth Third Burger.

1.66 pounds of beef, lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream, chili, and Fritos. All on an eight-inch sesame seed bun. Officially it feeds one to four people.

Best part about this burger?  It’s within driving distance of me.  They sell it at West Michigan Whitecaps Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, Michigan.

I will eat it.  Oh yes I will.

Oh, and I added a new page to the top to group together all the eating conquests I plan on attempting and the ones I have already tried.  Take a look.  It’s a work in progress!

Daaaaaaaamn, 7 pounds? That would be one hell of an accomplishment if you could finish that thing. Could I talk you into taking some pictures of it for the blog?

Oh, and do you work for Qdoba? Do you know how long this burrito eating contest is going to last? I have to pick up someone at the airport at 2:30 and I’m wondering if I could have time to compete.

Yeah, I’ll definitely get some pictures. I might have one or two of the Super Burrito at Pancho Villa too. I went to try and eat it before I knew it was 8lbs, I managed to get half of it down though.

I don’t work there and I haven’t heard anything else yet(the confirmation said I would hear back later this week.) Judging from the site I would guess the College bracket would be first(High School looks like it’s dropped) followed by Over 25 and then Teams.

thanks man, don’t think i’m going to be able to make it. pretty pissed about that. let me know how it goes.

if you have any pictures you want to contribute, send them over to john@epicportions.com. i’ll give you full credit and whatever.

I’ll send over some pictures tonight or tomorrow. They gave everyone two burritos and whoever finished the fastest won. The winner was done in about four and a half minutes. I just missed third. I was hoping it’d be capacity over speed.

Bar Louie Locations are having a Tater Tot eating contest this Thursday. I’m competing at the Novi location. It’s 6 minutes, Prizes include free tots for a year, a trophy, and a $250 Gift Card(and possibly a party for 20.) There’s also a pancake eating contest in Sheperd(near Midland) on the 26th.

Damn, wish I could have made it. I think I am going to compete in the tater tot contest at the Ann Arbor location.

Send me the pictures whenever. If you want to write an entry feel free or I can just post the pictures.

Thanks man.
