In my continued effort to visit every authentic Mexican joint in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area, I stopped into Taqueria la Fiesta in Ypsilanti. This is a little hole in the wall that meets every single one of my criteria for a respectable Mexican restaurant. They even serve menudo on the weekends. That will have to be my next meal there.
You’ve heard me talk enough about how much I love authentic Mexican food, so I will let the photos do the talking here. If you like the stuff as much as me, Taqueria la Fiesta is a must stop for you. The tacos are perfect. No lettuce fillers or yellow cheese, only meat, cilantro, and onion.
