I completely get what you guys are saying. I love ABC (especially Red Snapper and Brasserie Blonde) but I felt it was too obscure to those outside the Ypsi/Ann Arbor area. And I do realize I am somewhat contradicting myself by adding so much Bells.

Your recommendations of New Holland is exactly why I wanted to write this. Aside from just generally having fun drinking beer, I wanted to hear what other people felt was a "must" try so I can get out there and try it. If this gets a decent response I could do it again next year and include the new discoveries.

New Holland Dragon's Milk would have been a formidable opponent in any first-round matchup. What a kick ass beer!

Agreed. Founder's Red Rye is a fantastic beer. I've been itching to try some of their other beers.

Yeah, you are a bit Bell's-heavy. You should do your own Michigan bracket because you aren't representing other great Michigan breweries like Founders, New Holland, Arbor Brewing, Short's, Dark Horse and a slew of others. Each time I sample a new Short's, I keep getting more and more impressed by them.
