Sangria Summer – Dominic’s

by John on June 16, 2011 · 2 comments

Even though the weather has been somewhat shitty so far this Summer, that hasn’t stopped us from mixing alcohol and fruit.  The best Sangria in the city can be found at Dominic’s in downtown Ann Arbor. For about 24 bucks, you get a giant jar filled with their Sangria that comes with a fuzzy facedness guarantee.  Word on the street is that the secret ingredient is Maddog 20/20, which is a little disheartening, but the person who told me that is also absolutely out of their mind.  Regardless of if they add the Maddog, the stuff is delicious and Dominic’s will probably give you the best outdoor drinking experience in the city.

They also have a pretty legit food menu as well.  That’s all I really know.  I’ve only had the jalapeno poppers.  They were pretty good?

I make some pretty good sangria myself. My retired NAvy Father-in-law says it’s the best he’s ever had, even with several trips to Rota, Spain.

Oh, it’s the best sangria for sure (fo sho!?). I tried various bites of their food, and can say that the pizza is their best offering.
