Here is a text layout of all the food establishments we have reviewed and a brief summary for those of you who do not enjoy reading large amounts of text. Enjoy.
Ann Arbor, MI
Angelo’s – The crab cakes are made in house, and were absolutely delicious. The toast is made out of their own baked bread. This was quite possibly one of the best breakfasts I have ever had
Bella Italia – 30″ pizza competition. They brought out the biggest pizza box I have ever seen in my life and decided to put a large pizza box inside just to show us what we were getting ourselves into. If you can’t tell from the visual, the 30″ pizza is the equivalent of four larges. Oh yeah, and don’t forget the 2 pounds of meat on top. This wasn’t looking good.
Cafe Marie – Bottom line is Cafe Marie serve up some very good food, but it’s just a little too much when it comes to breakfast. If you’re looking for some morning eats in a spot that is both a little fancy, but still casual, then it’s perfect for you.
Blue Tractor BBQ & Brewery – As far as the food goes, I have to recommend the Blue Tractor to anyone who likes BBQ or just good food in general
Jerusalem Garden – If you’re ever visiting the Ann Arbor area, or live there and for some reason haven’t been, stop in for a visit. It’s the epitome of what Ann Arbor used to be, and is truly one of the best stops in the city. It’s one of a kind, and is going to be one of the things I miss the most if I am ever forced to relocate.
Le Dog – Le Dog also services some of the best soup in the area. Seriously. You will not find a better Lobster Bisque, anywhere.
Krazy Jim’s Blimpy Burger – Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to Krazy Jim’s Blimpy Burger, which should be the only thing listed after “burger joint” in the dictionary.
Jolly Pumpkin – Solid food and the beer is outstanding. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the beer with the food but the visit was worthwhile. I would definitely recommend that you give this place a try.
Big Ten Burrito(BTB) Cantina – Yesterday, I finally decided to make the trip and conquer their giant burrito. I have to say, I was not disappointed.
Sabor Latino – We ended up leaving most of the food we ordered because of the heat in the restaurant, and the lack of any impressive food on our table.
Zingerman’s Roadhouse – All in all, I would give Roadhouse a solid B. The appetizers and starters are the real star of the meal, while the entrees seemed pretty average. If you visit there, I would stick to the oysters, cheese plate, and appetizers.
