Crystal Pepsi Making a Comeback?

Back when I first started this blog, It was my goal to obtain a bottle of Crystal Pepsi on eBay and see how it tasted.  Crystal Pepsi was always dear to my heart because I was one of the few people who actually liked the stuff.  All of my friends thought it was gross, but I would’ve showered in the stuff if I didn’t have an incredibly responsible mother.  I never met this goal, but the people over at BevReview.com apparently dug up some incredibly in-depth information  about Pepsi possibly bringing back Crystal Pepsi.  Could this be true?

Hope you’re getting a mini fridge and putting it in your closet for this stuff. Its not going in MY fridge. Orrr, maybe your angel mother will let you share space in her lean cousine freezer for it. This stuff makes me sick-just seeing the label. Blahhh

Yeah, I LOVE PEPSI. But I remember hating this. It had a citrus-like quality to it. It wasn’t a clean, refreshing citrus taste. It was more like a “I’m sorry I just spewed this horrible soda out in your kitchen floor ma’am” citrus taste.

Hey, thanks for referencing our story on Crystal Pepsi. It should be interesting to see if it ever comes back in some way.

I have been talking about it and been begging for it to come back, glad to see you like it too. I still remember the taste and the trips to the store with my brother and sister just to get one!!!!! Can’t wait to get another one!

I loved Crystal Pepsi. All it was…clear Pepsi. No caramel coloring. People associate clear with citrus drinks like 7up and sprite. Think about how awesome it would be considering studies suggesting an increased risk of pancreatic linked to the amount of dark sodas you drink. Or kidney disease and so on. It’s in everyone’s head. Close your eyes and drink it. Can’t taste the diff.
