Epic Portions was created for the simple reason that we both love food.  We love cooking, eating, exploring new culinary delights and finding new places that inspire us.  We have a wide range of tastes, from fast food to fine dining, from burgers and brats to beef tongue and chicken livers.  There isn’t much that we won’t try and we try to do our best to share this attitude with our readers.

Epic Portions is maintained on a daily basis by John Moors, out of Ann Arbor, MI, and Todd BenDor, out of Chapel Hill North Carolina.  After growing up together in Ypsilanti, MI, Todd moved 1000 miles away to North Carolina.  Most of our time together was spent discussing new restaurants we had discovered and food we had tried.  Epic Portions is a chronicle of our adventures in the world of eating, drinking, and merriness, from the Motor City, to the New South, and everywhere in between.
