For my money, La Fuente is STILL serving the best Mexican food in Ypsilanti. If you haven’t gone there yet, get off your computer right now and go. I recommend the Grande Burrito.

Grande Burrito is my go to item at La Fuente. I love the sauce. But I have to say Los Amigos has surpassed La Fuente in my book, especially when you add price to the equation. It still amuses me that Ypsi completely blows Ann Arbor away when it comes to authentic Mexican food. Not even close…
I heard a rumor that the Mexican place on Washetnaw by China Chef and Huckleberry’s is quite good and also very authentic. One of us needs to try it.
