While looking around eBay for an unopened can of Surge soda, I came across the Qdoba diet for only $4.99. This diet claims you will lose 15 pounds in the first week of the diet. Oh yeah, you don’t have to exercise at all either. This sounds pretty stupid, but the seller has a 100% feedback rating. I am confused.

One Hell of a Day
So, traffic has been pretty good on this blog of mine. I thought the word was getting out pretty well. I was up to about 100-200 hits everyday, which I thought was pretty damn good for a blog just started 2-3 weeks ago.
Then today happened.
I was featured by Seriouseats.com last night for my tribute to sporks post from yesterday. I thought this was pretty cool since Serious Eats is one of the bigger food blogs on the internet, plus one I read regularly.

Then this morning, I found that I was also linked on Gorillamask.net, which is the last place I ever thought I would get a link for a food blog. If you’ve never been, take a look. It’s an interesting site.

So i’m thinking, Wow.. this should really help the traffic to my site.
What did happen… from midnight until right now (7:25PM), 3,307 different people have visited this blog, making it the 40th most popular blog on Word Press.
Holy shit.
I thought this week was going to be slow because of my heavy work load and school schedule. I guess not.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, I hope you enjoy this thing I have put together. All 3,307 of you.. But most of all, I hope whoever the 1 single person who visited the site was on February 8th is enjoying it as well. Because you, my friend, are an O.G. Just a straight original gangster.
Update (3/5/09 8:38 PM)
As of this morning I am the #18 most popular blog on WordPress, with over 5,000 views in the last 24 hours. That is crazy.

State of the Blog
So a lot is going on right now, so I wanted you to update you on what is currently going on.
This blog will soon be moved so another location. It will most likely be http://www.moorsfood.com, but I am still mulling my options. Moving the blog to its own server will allow me a lot more freedom to do whatever I want, rather than work off of a template. To do this, I have to learn/re-learn how to do everything. This is going to be an interesting process. The result should create a better site that is more interactive for the readers.
I am also in the process of talking to a few local companies on hopeful interviews/tours of their operations. These would then be published on this blog.
I have a pretty hectic week this week, but will try to update as frequently as possible. I am consistently getting a large amount of traffic, and I appreciate your visits. If you don’t see anything on here for a day or two, don’t worry.. It’s just me working 7 days and going to class full time this week.
This wasn’t much of a state of the blog, but I wanted to get something up here on what was currently going on.
