  • Lasagna Timpano

One of my favorite things to cook, especially when people are over, is a big Timpano. It’s a crowd pleaser and guarantees leftovers for days after. If you have no idea what these Timpano things are, I will now provide you with a visual.  This particular Timpano is from the Michigan/Michigan State game a couple years back.  I believe the layers are chicken Parmesan, mozzarella sticks, spaghetti, meatballs and fettuccine Alfredo

I’ve always wanted to come up with some kind of crazy twist and make a hybrid Timpano.  Philly cheese steak Timpano is probably the best idea I’ve had so far.  The Food in my Beard recently came up with the genius idea of a lasagna Timpano.  Look at this thing.  It’s incredible.

I have no words that can equal the deliciousness that is the lasagna Timpano, so I’m going to end this post right here.  Jesus that looks delicious.

  • Shepards Pie Burgers

I’ll admit it, I visit The Food in my Beard daily hoping there’s a new recipe.  When there’s not, I usually cry uncontrollably for an hour before I’m ready to resume my day. Recently, my emotions were under control because he put up a recipe for Shepards Pie Burgers.  I am in love.  If pierogie burgers weren’t already enough to convince you that potatoes go great with burgers, hopefully this will.

  • Lazyman Tamales

Straight from my favorite food blog in the world, The Food in my Beard, I present to you lazy man tamales.  Any food that can be titled as “lazy man” dish, and looks this good sounds like an excellent idea to me.  If I didn’t have black bean and rice burritos cooking right now I would literally drive to the grocery store and make these right now.  I guess there’s always dinner.

I felt the need to apologize for subjecting you to the picture of Tio’s uber disgusting nachos the other day.  I hope the following picture/recipe will make up for that and you can somehow forgive me.
