  • Volcano Quesadilla

Just got back from the Taco Bell trip and am way too lazy to write anything up right now.  I did, however, invent a genius creation using their test kitchen.  The Volcano Quesadilla. The lady didn’t believe that I hadn’t worked at Taco Bell before.  Haha!

  • It’s Coming Back…

As a big fan of spicy food, it is great news that Taco Bell is bringing back the volcano sauce.  I used to order normal menu items and tell them to cover it in the stuff.  While it’s not as spicy as advertised, it’s much better than the “fire” sauce which is about as hot as ketchup.

Not only are they bringing back the sauce, but an entire menu is being devoted to it.  Volcano tacos, nachos, crunchwraps, and burritos will be offered.  I don’t think this weight I put on since starting this blog is coming off any time soon.

  • Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality

I guess I’m on a bit of a fast food kick, but a trip to Taco Bell the other day got me thinking about how the food is advertised and how it’s really given to you.  Specifically, my cheesy beefy nachos (or whatever they’re called).  Taco Bell currently has their nachos for $.79-$.99 and are advertised looking like you get a large platter of nachos.  Here’s what is advertised versus what I really got.

    What John Got

While they were delicious, It would be nice to get a little more even for $.89!  Come on now.
