French Toast Stuffed With Sausage

Varta strikes again.

If you read the blog a few days ago you are aware of Varta, one of the great breakfast minds of our time.   You were privileged enough to witness one of the most delicious breakfast creations ever, an egg cuddled in bacon, cheese and sausage.  Well, she’s back in a big way with another incredible looking creation: french toast stuffed with sausage.  I’m not sure if it’s just that I am a sucker for foods stuffed with other foods, but this seriously brought tears to my eyes.

Hey IHOP.. Get off your ass.

How come no one has done this before?!? True inspired genius. I would only question the cookedness of the sausage but as long as that is done thoroughly then you’ve got a winner on your hands. Again…how’d it taste. Does Varta have a blog of her own? Does she take requests? :P

Clearly varta was blessed with the worlds most envied metabolism. Which is pretty sweet. I think I gained a couple lbs just looking through her facebook pictures…..

varta doesn’t have a blog, she has me. i receive all the minutiae of her daily life. And yes anyone would kill for her metabolism

I think the next step is stuffing something with sausage gravy. That only makes sense.

I recommended that she stuff the sausage with chocolate

What’s the request? I’m trying to come up with something for Stephanie’s apple pie challenge. So that’s next on the list. As for the sausage, it indeed cooked through. I used a fairly thin (at least in my head) layer of sausage. It tasted amazing. If you’re one of those people that likes to dip your bacon and sausage in the syrup, this thing is a dream.

After seeing this I had to call my FTA sponsor for some counselling as I almost fell off the wagon…(French Toast Anonymous). This looks soooo good. Make mine a double!!

This looks AWESOME! However, how does the sausage brown inside of this, do you have to bake it at all?

@Varta – Hmmmmm….how about something deep fried! Does it have to be breakfast? Maybe a deep fried Elvis (peanut butter, honey, banana & bacon grilled sandwich)….that would be awesome!

I’m surprised FoodBeast isn’t “craving” this yet.

I’m totally making this once I introduce normal food back into my diet.

There are definitely loads of details like that to take into consideration. That could be a nice point to convey up. I supply the thoughts above as normal inspiration but clearly there are questions just like the one you deliver up the place a very powerful factor will be working in trustworthy good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged round things like that, but I am certain that your job is clearly recognized as a good game. Each girls and boys feel the impression of just a second’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
