Within a short(HA!) driving distance of me, the Guiness record for largest burger was set at Mallie’s Sports Grill & Bar in Southgate, MI. The burger weighs 185 lb and requires a baking time of 15 hours before eating. The bun also takes 8 hours to bake. Interested in trying it out? Better bring $499 with you. That’s a rather expensive burger. Thanks to Mallie’s website for the pictures. Check this thing out. I could eat it if I wasn’t on a diet. For sure.

wait – it’s only $500??? That’s rediculous. That’s $2.70 per pound for the beef alone, which is less than I pay in a store. Let alone all that bacon and the enormous bun. Plus, factor in the work of doing all that. How can they possibly afford to sell this thing?
This is crazy!!! I love hamburgers! That is the biggest burger ever!
Off the general topic but Mallie’s is a complete bro bar. Imagine Rick’s on South U. except Downriver, with a bunch of dumb, country-listening Git R Done bros fighting each other every night, instead of Kanye/Coldplay-listening nincompoops dressed in pink shirts and guido haircuts from Ann Arbor.
But that burger does look delicious.
Todd, don’t be surprised that the price is that low. Who said they used beef for making the burger? Still, I guess it was quite an effort to catch all those cats’n'rats and prepare them in the right way.
Bon apetite!
