Remember a couple days ago when I asked for your help in defeating the evil Tios Mexican Cafe in the AnnArbor.com Best of Mexican/Southwest category? Now is that time. Here is a very simple set of instructions for what you need to do.
- Click this link
- Click Sign in on the top right and log in with your Facebook account. This is a lot easier than creating an account, if you don’t feel like doing that. You don’t need to sign up for anything. It’s just two clicks.
- Vote for La Fiesta Mexicana. They are who I am currently throwing my weight behind. If you haven’t been there, don’t worry. They are legit.
- Close the window knowing that you assisted in stopping a terrible restaurant from receiving even more credit that they do not deserve.
That’s all you have to do. Even if you’re not from this area, just imagine the worst restaurant in your city being voted the best and do the right thing. We need your help. Thank you.

As someone who just discovered that the WORST Chinese restaurant of all time resides in my new hometown (hot dogs as the pork in pork fried rice? Are you bleeping kidding me??) and that people keep eating there, I felt compelled to help out. These things are important. My vote has been cast. Down with Tios Mexican Cafe (and the Fortune Fountain)!

The best mexican in town was not even on the list.
It is Tienda La Libertad, a mexican grocer that does tacos and who recently opened a hot bar.
