Has anyone out there ever seen one of the Krispy Kreme donut machines in action?
Is it just me, or is this a little piece of Industrial magic? I stood outside a Krispy Creme in Washington, D.C. for like 20 minutes marveling at this thing. Truly beautious!
It actually got me thinking. Does anyone out there own a personal donut making machine? You know, those little ones you always see advertised in Sky Mall and other, assorted crazy crap catalogues. If not an actual machine, does anyone make their own donuts?
If so – do you love it? Does it make you and your loved ones as happy as I would presume it would? I know if any of my loved ones made their own donuts, I would mow their lawns, wash their windows, and write them directly into my will.
This little drive through soul food joint called Mommie’s Soul Food just opened up on Washtenaw right by my apartment. The building is an old Hot ‘n’ Now location The funny thing is there’s no drive through speaker. Last time I drove by the operation was set up with some lady standing outside taking your order, running it inside, then having you pull up to the window for your food. Word on the street is they actually have some pretty legit soul food. I’m still trying to build up the courage to give it a try. What do you think? Should I?
Al Roker gets molested by drunk Ewoks in front of a live national audience on halloween. This is truly the miracle of alcohol, people. Look at that Ewok Moonwalk! The king himself would be proud! I recommend skipping to 2:00 where the fun begins. P.S. Al Roker makes a great Han Solo – that hair is beautiful! Well done, Al!
