  • It’s Coming Back…

    As a big fan of spicy food, it is great news that Taco Bell is bringing back the volcano sauce.  I used to order normal menu items and tell them to cover it in the stuff.  While it’s not as spicy as advertised, it’s much better than the “fire” sauce which is about as hot as ketchup.

    Not only are they bringing back the sauce, but an entire menu is being devoted to it.  Volcano tacos, nachos, crunchwraps, and burritos will be offered.  I don’t think this weight I put on since starting this blog is coming off any time soon.

  • Ghetto Grill

    With Summer finally being here and the weather being fairly nice, my first grill session will occur tonight.  I’m currently operating with a little Weber, but I can’t help but miss the old ghetto grill.  Built from an old gas grill top and two cinder blocks, this contraption wasn’t messing around.

    The ghetto grill was taken by my old apartment complex after being left out overnight and has been missed ever since.

  • Bacon Vodka

    Ok, so I might have gotten a little carried away with the whole infusing things into vodka over the weekend.  I decided to pay tribute to the current swine flu and make bacon infused vodka.  This process is going to be a little bit easier than the Skittles.  All that happens here is putting cooked bacon and fat into a mason jar, pouring vodka to the top, and letting it sit for a week.  After this, I will put the jar in the freezer for a few hours so the fat rises to the top, remove the fat, and strain several times to remove small bacon bits.  This should be ready to go by Friday and I will be sure to share the results with you.  I’m sure you’re VERY excited after seeing this picture.
